POEM"JESUS OUR RANSOM" by William Herebert.

Jesus our ransom,
Love and longing,
Lord God almighty,
Maker of all things,
Flesh you took
And man became
In the fullness of time.

What mercifulness overcame you,
The one who bears our sins,
When you suffered bitter death,
To raise us up from sin?

Hell’s gate you pierced,
And bought your own out of bondage;
With great nobility
You ascended
To your Father’s right hand.

May that same mercy lead you
To overcome our wickedness
With your mercy
And fill us full
With the bliss of your face.

Be now our joy
You who will be our reward,
May we find all our delight in you,
The one who longs for us to be with you.

Praise for the ransom JESUS paid to redeem me

No words, no good deeds, no gifts, can ever express my gratitude, Lord Jesus, for the price You paid on the cross with Your life and precious blood to ransom my soul. I sing a new song of praise and glorify Your Holy Name for the great things You have done for me. Holy Spirit, my heart breaks for family members, and people around me who have no clue about Jesus' ransom. Please lead me this day to someone who is a prisoner of the devil and feels like their life is a death sentence with no hope in sight. Use my care to open their heart to hear this wonderful truth about our Redeemer and Savior, Christ Jesus. Hosanna!
