AWAKE: Stay awake, and you will be blessed - Revelation 16:15

Wake Christian no longer sleep
We've promises to keep
From Calvary a cross to bear
To Zion's walls a crown to wear

Shall tonight our beds be made?
When tonight the heathens fade
Shall in peace we rest our back
When others salvation lack

The shepherd's voice for long we knew
Onward then with strength renewed
The low valley and high mountains
Bold we march crossing fountains

Each dawn is a day made new
With hours that keep getting few
In bold and strength we rise and stand
Our king the lord himself commands

Wake Christian no longer sleep
We've promises to keep
And miles to go before we sleep

Worship & Prayer to be awake and ready for the coming of Christ Jesus.

I praise You, Lord Jesus, for reminding me through this promise that my salvation is nearer today than when I first believed. It's high time for me to be awake, O LORD, so I am prepared and ready for Your coming. Holy Spirit, please keep my spirit, heart, and soul awake to the voice and leading of my Lord Jesus. Remind me that everything I do for Christ and the glory of God will last for eternity. Use me this day to help awaken the soul of someone who is spiritually asleep, naked, and immersed in doing shameful things that God abhors. I pray for their awakening and salvation in Jesus' mighty name.
