There are places in the sea
That calls deep unto deep
Where nothing disturbs it
And peace is yours to keep.

I dream of this place
A place that will never wake
Not even a ripple stirs
Could it be heaven's lake?

Find it in your soul
An abyss without end
A sanctuary just for you
To seek your one true friend.

Oh, who is this true friend?
That waits in your depth
When down, down you fall
Through endless tears He wept.

Find it in your soul
As you search deep within
Serene, quiet, peace, rest
At last…Rest in Him. 

Praise & Prayer for divine rest

It's Your peace, Lord Jesus, that comforts my troubled soul and gives me rest when I face trials and feel overwhelmed. I take Your yoke upon and authorize You to lead me in Your perfect will. Thank You for always lifting my burdens and carrying me with Your everlasting arms when I am weary. As I read this promise, I praise You for giving my heart hope and look forward to the day when I will rest from all drudgery, trials, tears, suffering, and sorrow. Holy Spirit, use me this day to be a blessing of comfort and hope to a family member, fellow believer, or person in the marketplace who feels restless. Lord Jesus, please allow them to experience Your perfect peace and supernatural rest as we pray in Your mighty name.
