GOOD NEWS: Preach the Good News - Acts 8:12

But there was a certain man, Simon by name, who used to practice sorcery in the city and amazed the people of Samaria, making himself out to be some great one, to whom they all listened, from the least to the greatest, saying, “This man is that great power of God.” They listened to him, because for a long time he had amazed them with his sorceries. But when they believed Philip preaching the good news concerning God’s Kingdom and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. Simon himself also believed. Of myself I am not able
To fulfill my Lord's command.
Only in Christ do I have the power
To love my fellowman.

He gives me strength to speak to them,
And tell them that God is love
And that He came to die for them
Reconciling to God above.

For the love of God goes deeper
Than the depths of sin and shame
And the grace of God reaches out to all
Who call upon His name.

For there is power in the Name of Christ

Praise & Prayer to be a herald of the Good News

No human wisdom, philosophies, ideologies, or demonic sorceries compare to the great power of Your Good News, Lord Jesus. Your Good News has the power to transform lives and make them new. Your Good News has the power to fill hearts with living hope. Your Good News has the power to cast out all darkness and flood souls with heavenly light. Your Good News has the power to pulverize the lies of the devil and free people from mental illnesses. Like Phillip, I want to be a messenger of Your Good News to broken and hurting individuals ravaged by the bad news that bombards them every day. Please anoint me, Holy Spirit, and lead me to someone today who is victimized by the dismal lies they are hearing from Beelzebub. Use my empathy and care to open their eyes to see and ears to hear the Good News. I pray for their salvation in Jesus' mighty name.
