CLEAN: Do not call anything impure that God has made clean - Acts 10:15

About noon the following day as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the roof to pray. He became hungry and wanted something to eat, and while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance. He saw heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners. It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles and birds. Then a voice told him, “Get up, Peter. Kill and eat.”  “Surely not, Lord!” Peter replied. “I have never eaten anything impure or unclean.” The voice spoke to him a second time, “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.” This happened three times, and immediately the sheet was taken back to heaven. Acts 10:9-16 NIV

My heart heart felt like slime.
Dirty and soiled,
Sin hid and coiled.

Then I met Jesus,
The Savior who frees us.
He washed me clean,
Heart no longer mean.

He wants you to come,
Wherever you're from.
Let Jesus come in,
and clean you within. 

Prayer & Praise for a clean heart, soul, mind, and body

Abba Father, please create in me a clean heart and renew a steadfast spirit of unwavering faith within me. I praise You, Lord Jesus, for washing away my sin and filth with Your precious blood. No longer do I feel like an unclean animal, ugly reptile, or tainted bird in Your eyes. Please teach me, Holy Spirit, to see people as God sees them with eyes of compassion. Stop me from being a judger of people that may not align with my Christian values or beliefs. Lead me to someone today who feels unclean and unworthy of God's grace. Soften their heart to believe and open their ears to hear that Jesus came to save sinners and cleanses them from all corruption with His precious blood. I pray for their salvation in Jesus' mighty name. Amen!
