As Paul and Barnabas were leaving the synagogue, the people invited them to speak further about these things on the next Sabbath. When the congregation was dismissed, many of the Jews and devout converts to Judaism followed Paul and Barnabas, who talked with them and urged them to continue in the grace of God. On the next Sabbath almost the whole city gathered to hear the word of the Lord. Acts 13:43-44 NIV
Quote: "I am not what I ought to be. I am not what I want to be. I am not what I hope to be. But still, I am not what I used to be. And by the grace of God, I am what I am." John Newton.
Praise & Prayer to experience God's grace
Abba Father, I am grateful for the marvelous grace You bestowed on my life and continue to bestow upon me through Your beloved Son, Jesus Christ. I will continue in Your grace that gives me hope and fulfills all my needs. I will not listen to the father of lies, the devil, who seeks to discredit Your grace and love. Acknowledging my weaknesses is how I experience the fullness of Your underserved favor. Lord Jesus, please guide me this day to someone who is on a path toward self-destruction and craves a new beginning in life. Use my testimony about Your amazing grace to touch their heart and lead them toward redemption and acceptance of Your grace. I pray in Your almighty name, amen.
