Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to Him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come. Praise & Prayer
I praise you, Lord Jesus, for defeating the powers of darkness at the cross of Calvary. Thank you for rescuing me from the devil's deception and control. I ask that You keep me grounded in Your truth so people see You in my life. No matter what bad news or lawlessness I see happening in the world, I find comfort in knowing that God is in control and that Your return will happen according to God's time, plan, and purpose. Come soon, Lord Jesus. Please use me, Holy Spirit, to assist someone who is being misled by false teachings and the Lord's coming. Ignite a passion in their heart for reading the scriptures and trusting in The Truth, Jesus Christ, who liberates us from rebellion and deceit. I pray for their salvation in Jesus' mighty name.
