Then the Lord said to Moses, “Get up early in the morning and confront Pharaoh as he goes to the river and say to him, ‘This is what the Lord says: Let my people go, so that they may worship me. If you do not let my people go, I will send swarms of flies on you and your officials, on your people and into your houses. The houses of the Egyptians will be full of flies; even the ground will be covered with them. “‘But on that day I will deal differently with the land of Goshen, where my people live; no swarms of flies will be there, so that you will know that I, the Lord, Am in this land. I will make a distinction between My people and your people. This sign will occur tomorrow.’” Exodus 8:20-23 NIV
Praise & Prayer
Thank you, God, for being loving and merciful and granting humanity countless opportunities like you did with Pharaoh to repent and be saved from catastrophe. I praise You for saving me and being the difference-maker in my life. I acknowledge that I'm no better than anyone else in this world and it is Your grace alone that saved a wrench like me. I praise You for reminding me through this scripture that You make a distinction between those who believe and obey You and those who reject Your word and oppose You. Please give me, Holy Spirit, a heart that constantly hungers to obey the Lord. Teach me to be a faithful messenger of God's love and truth by sharing the good news of Christ's salvation with family members and people in the marketplace who are in the pit of disbelief. Help me to make a difference in someone's life for God's glory today. I pray in Jesus' name, amen.
March through books of the Bible and meditate on the verse and prayer of the day to help strengthen your faith and personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. Loving people with compassionate care and pointing them to Christ our Savior is how you will be a soul winner and bring glory of God.
