REST: The Lord gives you rest - Exodus 16:29

Then Moses said to them, “This is what the Lord has said: ‘Tomorrow is a Sabbath rest, a holy Sabbath to the Lord. Bake what you will bake today, and boil what you will boil; and lay up for yourselves all that remains, to be kept until morning.’ Now it happened that some of the people went out on the seventh day to gather, but they found none. And the Lord asked Moses, “How long do you refuse to keep My commandments and laws? See! For the Lord has given you the Sabbath (Rest); therefore He gives you on the sixth day bread for two days. Let every man remain in his place; let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.” So the people rested on the seventh day. Exodus 16:23,27-30 NKJV

Praise & Prayer
I confess You, Lord Jesus, as the Lord of the Sabbath and praise You for bringing peace and rest to my restless soul. I recall how my life was like a sea, constantly churning up dirt and feelings of anxiousness, before I surrendered my life to You. This scripture speaks to me, revealing Your desire for me to slow down and experience Your divine rest, so I grow to rely on You. Holy Spirit, please teach me to turn to Jesus for rest when I feel weary or burdened with care. Guide me this day to a restless soul who is disturbed like the sea and struggling in faith. Lord Jesus, please lift their burdens and allow them to experience Your amazing rest as we pray in Your mighty name. Hallelujah and Amen!
