Listen and pay close attention, do not be haughty and overconfident, For the LORD has spoken. Give glory to the LORD your God, Before He brings darkness And before your feet stumble On the dark and shadowy mountains, And while you are longing for light He turns it into the shadow of death, And makes it into thick darkness. Jeremiah 13:15-16
Praise & Prayer
I bow before Your holy presence to offer praise and give You all the glory, LORD God. Thank You for sacrificing Your beloved Son, Jesus Christ, to save me from my darkness and the shadow of death. Lord Jesus, I praise You for blessing me with a new heart and instilling a new spirit to understand that I was created to glorify God. You have freed me from my pride and self-confidence, which led me into the valley of deep despair. Use me today, my Savior, to help someone who lives in the dark shadows of hopelessness and longs for light. Please save them from their darkness as I share this gospel truth. I pray in Your mighty name, amen.
