BAPTIZED: Jesus baptizes you with the Holy Spirit - Mark 1:8

Now John was clothed with camel’s hair and with a leather belt around his waist, and he ate locusts and wild honey. And he preached, saying, “There comes One after me who is mightier than I, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to stoop down and loose. I indeed baptized you with water, but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.” Mark Mark 1:6-8

LIVING TRUTH:

• "For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form One body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink." 1 Corinthians 12:13
• "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8
• "These things I have spoken to you while I AM still with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you." John 14:25-26

Prayer & Praise

With reverence, I kneel to praise and worship You, Lord Jesus, for being my Wonderful Savior. I trust in Your unfailing promise proclaimed by John the Baptist and thank You for baptizing me with the Holy Spirit, so that I can grow day by day into an authentic disciple who obeys and glorifies our Heavenly Father. Holy Spirit, please fill me with Christ's presence, love, grace, truth, and compassion so that I can be a powerful witness like John to the lost and dying of this world who are prey to the devil. Abba Father, I pray in the mighty name of Jesus, my Messiah.
