FULFILLED: The scriptures must be fulfilled - Mark 14:49

Just as He was speaking, Judas, one of the Twelve, appeared. With him was a crowd armed with swords and clubs, sent from the chief priests, the teachers of the law, and the elders. Now the betrayer [Judas] had arranged a signal with them: “The one I kiss is the Man; arrest Him and lead Him away under guard.” Going at once to Jesus, Judas said, “Rabbi!” and kissed Him. The men seized Jesus and arrested Him. Then one of those standing near drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear. “Am I leading a rebellion,” said Jesus, “that you have come out with swords and clubs to capture Me? Every day I was with you, teaching in the temple courts, and you did not arrest me. But the Scriptures must be fulfilled.” Then all His disciples deserted Him and fled. Mark 14:49

REASONS TO BELIEVE

Praise & Prayer
Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. You were delivered up, Lord Jesus, to fulfill God’s set plan and foreknowledge, by the hands of the lawless, who put You to death by nailing You to the cross. You came to Your own people who did not receive You and condemned You to fulfill the words of the prophets that the religious leaders read every Sabbath. I praise Your faithfulness and thank You for fulfilling every prophecy foretold by Your anionted messengers to prove to all humankind that You are the Savior of the world. Holy Spirit, fill my heart with steadfast devotion to follow Christ Jesus all my days here on earth. Guide me today to someone who is questioning God's word and doubt's it's validity. Give me wisdom and discernment to share one or two prophecies that Jesus fulfilled, so that they may turn from their unbelief to faith in Christ. Abba Father, open the eyes of their heart to see and trust in Jesus for their salvation. I pray in His mighty name.
