POSSIBLE: Everything is possible for God - Mark 14:35

They went to a place called Gethsemane, and Jesus said to His disciples, “Sit here while I pray.” He took Peter, James, and John along with Him, and He began to be deeply distressed and troubled. “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death,” He said to them. “Stay here and keep watch.” Going a little farther, He fell to the ground and prayed that if possible, the hour might pass from Him. “Abba, Father,” He said, “everything is possible for You. Take this cup from Me. Yet not what I will, but what You will.” Mark 14:32-36

Eternal Truth

• "The LORD says: "My thoughts and My ways are not like yours. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts." Isaiah 55:8-9 
• "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. Romans 8:35-37

Prayer & Praise

I believe, Abba Father, as Jesus did, that everything is possible with You. You are the Sovereign God who rules heaven and earth. You had the power to save Your only begotten Son from a torturous death, but because of Your great love for us, You were willing to let Him be slain so we could be saved. Lord Jesus, I praise You for drinking the cup of death for me. When my soul feels distressed and overwhelmed with sorrow, please teach me to be more than a conqueror by trusting in the Father, by praying, not my will, but Your will be done! I ask in Your mighty name. Amen.
