SHEPHERD: The Shepherd goes ahead of you - Mark 14:28

On the way, Jesus told them, “All of you will desert Me. For the Scriptures say, ‘God will strike the Shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.’ But after I Am raised from the dead, I will go ahead of you to Galilee and meet you there.” Peter said to Him, “Even if everyone else deserts You, I never will.” Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, Peter—this very night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny three times that you even know Me.” “No!” Peter declared emphatically. “Even if I have to die with You, I will never deny You!” And all the others vowed the same. Prayer & Praise
Though I walk through the valley of death, my Good Shepherd goes before me, guiding, protecting, and providing everything I need. My heart is blessed by Your sacrificial and everlasting love, Lord Jesus. Even when You knew that Peter and the disciples would deny and forsake You in times of persecution and death, You did not give up on them. I can never thank You enough for never giving up on me despite my many flaws and mistakes. Abba Father, I am deeply thankful that You allowed the Shepherd to be struck and sacrificed for my sins. Please fill me with unwavering courage through the power of the Holy Spirit to live for Jesus and to die for Jesus. I pray in the mighty name of Jesus, my Lord and Savior
