VOICE: You have heard the voice of God about Jesus Christ - 2 Peter 1:18

For we did not follow cleverly devised stories when we told you about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ in power, but we were eyewitnesses of His majesty. He received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice came to Him from the Majestic Glory, saying, “This is my Son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased.” We ourselves heard this voice that came from heaven when we were with Him on the sacred mountain. 2 Peter 1:16-18

LIVING TRUTH:

• Long ago God spoke in many different ways to our fathers through the prophets, in visions, dreams, and even face to face, telling them little by little about His plans. But now in these days He has spoken to us through His Son to whom He has given everything and through whom He made the world and everything there is." Hebrews 1:1-2 
• "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them out of My hand." John 10:27-28
• "Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever does not enter the sheepfold by the gate, but climbs in some other way, is a thief and a robber. But the one who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen for His voice. He calls His own sheep by name and leads them out. When He has brought out all His own, He goes on ahead of them, and His sheep follow Him because they know His voice. But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will flee from him because they do not recognize his voice.” John 10:1-5

Prayer & Praise:
God speaks to me through His Son, whom He loves. I enter the sheepfold through the gate that leads me into Your holy presence, Good Shepherd. Amid the voices that resound every day in this world, including my own negative self-talk and the devil's lies, please speak to me and let me hear Your voice of power that dispels all fear, eradicates all feelings of hopelessness, and fills my heart with peace, joy, strength, hope, and love. I ask in Your mighty and glorious name, my Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.
