ANOINTED: The Lord has anointed you with His Spirit - 1 Samuel 10:1

At daybreak the next morning, Samuel called to Saul, “Get up! It’s time you were on your way.” So Saul got ready, and he and Samuel left the house together. When they reached the edge of town, Samuel told Saul to send his servant on ahead. After the servant was gone, Samuel said, “Stay here, for I have received a special message for you from God.” Then Samuel took a flask of olive oil and poured it on Saul’s head and kissed him, saying, “Has not the LORD anointed you, ruler over His inheritance? 1 Samuel 9:26-10:1

Prayer:
As Samuel anointed Saul, so I thank You, Heavenly Father, for the anointing of Your Holy Spirit upon my life. Your living Word declares:
"Now it is God who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us, who has also put His seal on us and given us His Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee." 2 Corinthians 1:21–22
I feel incredibly grateful for choosing me and setting me apart in Christ Jesus for a life filled with purpose and eternal hope. Teach me, Holy Spirit, to live out the anointing God has placed on my life as one of His children, bringing glory to His name and honor to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
