In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 1 Pet. 1:6-7
Prayer
The fundamental fact of faith is trusting in God. Merciful Father, I know it's impossible to please You apart from faith. I approach Your throne this morning believing that You exist and that You care enough to respond to me whenever I call upon You. Honor my mustard seed faith so I can say to any trial or mountain in my life, 'Move from here to there' and it shall move.
Help me to stand in faith when I feel like I can't face another day. Help me to stand in faith even when tears of sorrow flow from my eyes. Help me to stand in faith in my sickness by drawing near and touching the hem of Your garment. Help me to stand in faith by persevering in prayer when I am stressed at work. Help me to stand in faith knowing that You are my God who will carry me through every trouble I face. In the wonderful name of Jesus
March through books of the Bible and meditate on the promise, prayer, and song of the day to help strengthen your faith and personal relationship with Jesus Christ, our Savior. Loving people with compassionate care and pointing them to "Christ, the Way, the Truth, & the Life" is how you will be a soul winner and bring glory to God.
