Your grief will turn to joy-John 16:20

Losing a family member or friend often times brings deep sorrow and emptiness to our lives, however, today's Bible Promise injects the dawning of joy and eternal hope through Jesus Christ. Remember, that when I die and when I'm gone, there will be but a short time of separation before we see each other again in the Kingdom of our LORD and Savior.

I tell you the truth, you will weep and mourn over what is going to happen to me, but the world will rejoice. You will grieve, but your grief will suddenly turn to wonderful joy. John 16:20 NLT

Today's Prayer

Jesus turns my sadness to gladness. I place my trust in You O LORD and pray for strength in times of grief and sorrow. Fill my heart with joy as I remember Your victory on the cross over death and the powers of darkness. Help me bring comfort and joy to those who mourn that they may be touched by Your unfailing love and boundless grace. I pray in Your name. Amen
