You will be prosperous and successful-Joshua 1:8

Why do people believe what they read in a fortune cookie or their daily Horoscope but they doubt God's living Word which never pass away? Do you believe God wants to bless and prosper you beyond all that you can ask or think IF you are obedient to His word? Why should God give you success if you turn your back on Him? Would you want this world's success if brought ruin and chaos to you and your family? The verse for today gives you the formula on how you can have true success in life, which is knowing, believing, and obeying God's word. 

Today's Bible Verse: Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Joshua 1:8

Today's Prayer

God wants me to succeed in life. Heavenly Father, I want to be an obedient Christian who delights to do Your will and does not allow prosperity to ruin me. I'm aware of my greatest need in life which is to seek first Your Kingdom so please take top priority and teach me how to set my mind on things above. Use my talents, gifts and finances for Your glory and prosper the works of my hands as You have promised that I may gain more to give more. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen
