Resurrection power-Philippians 3:10

Do you believe in the resurrection of the dead? There is only one person in all of History who conquered the powers of death and holds the keys to death and the grave, and His name is Jesus Christ. Jesus told his followers that He would rise from the dead after three days and He did it. Jesus appeared to more than 500 people who were eye witnesses and wrote about His resurrection. What separates Jesus and Christianity from all other religions in the world, is the victory of Jesus over death. Sting of Death, you no longer have power to keep me in the ground because Jesus is risen and will raise me up! Read today's verse about resurrection power and remember what D.L. Moody once said - "Some day you will read in the papers that D.L. Moody of East Northfield, is dead. Don't you believe a word of it! At that moment I shall be more alive than I am now; I shall have gone up higher, that is all, out of this old clay tenement into a house that is immortal-a body that death cannot touch, that sin cannot taint; a body fashioned like unto His glorious body."

Verse About Resurrection Power

I want to know Christ--yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead. Philippians 3:10-11 NIV

Prayer for Resurrection Power

I am ALIVE because Jesus has conquered death for me. Loving Father, I believe Jesus Christ died and rose from the dead to give me eternal hope. I too want to know Christ and the power of His resurrection. Give me an unwavering heart that is willing to suffer for His name and is unashamed to proclaim the good news that Jesus is risen. In His glorious name I pray. Amen
