God will give me success-Nehemiah 2:20

When does God give me success? Throughout history we have seen how God gives success to men and women like Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Nehemiah, and Jesus who place their trust in Him.  We are asked a question in Romans 8:35-37 KJV - "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?  As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. It may look like Christians are losing the battle in this day and age, however, God has given us success in winning the ultimate war against the powers of darkness. We are given the promise in v.37 - "Nay, in all these things WE ARE MORE THAN CONQUERORS THROUGH HIM (JESUS) that loved us."  If I am with Jesus today, I am on the winning side of success for HE HAS DEFEATED ALL OF MY ENEMIES!

A Bible Promise For Success

But when Sanballat the Horonite, Tobiah the Ammonite official and Geshem the Arab heard about it, they mocked and ridiculed us. “What is this you are doing?” they asked. “Are you rebelling against the king?” I answered them by saying, “The God of heaven will give us success. We his servants will start rebuilding, but as for you, you have no share in Jerusalem or any claim or historic right to it.” Nehemiah 2:19-20 NIV

A Prayer For Success Against My Enemies

My success comes from the LORD. Almighty Father, I come in the name of Jesus and ask You to empower me with Your Holy Spirit that I may be determined to fulfill what You have called me to do. Don't let me listen to the naysayers of this world like Sanballat and Tobiah who oppose the building up of Your Kingdom and seek to fill my mind with doubt. Grant me O LORD success in being a faithful witness of Jesus Christ for I am more than a conqueror through Him. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
