Opened eyes - 2 Kings 6:17

What does the Bible say about eyes? Learn more

Holy Scripture of the day about God opening your eyes to see the unseen

When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. “Oh no, my lord! What shall we do?” the servant asked. “Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.  2 Kings 6:15-17 NIV

Thought: Things that no eye has seen, or ear heard, or mind imagined, are the things God has prepared for those who love Him.

Prayer to have open eyes that see the armies of the living God who is with me and for me - Learn more

Open my eyes O Lord to behold Your majesty and the greatness of Your power. Allow me to see Your angelic army which surrounds and protects me when I feel attacked. Remind me Holy Spirit, that the unseen is far greater than the seen, and that those who are with us are more than those who are against us. Guide me to someone today who feels afraid and  needs to have their eyes opened so they can see the unseen things that God has prepared for those who love Him. I pray in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen
