Useful to God - Judges 6:36

Holy scripture for today about being useful to God - Read more God's plan for your life

Then Gideon said to God, “If you are truly going to use me to rescue Israel as you promised, prove it to me in this way. I will put a wool fleece on the threshing floor tonight. If the fleece is wet with dew in the morning but the ground is dry, then I will know that you are going to help me rescue Israel as you promised.” And that is just what happened. When Gideon got up early the next morning, he squeezed the fleece and wrung out a whole bowlful of water.  Judges 6:36-38 NLT

Prayer of the day about being used by God

Thank You, Lord Jesus, for choosing ordinary people like Gideon to accomplish great feats. My life is in Your hands, use me for Your glory. Holy Spirit, teach me how to cast out all doubt and thoughts of inadequacy by trusting in the Lord's faithfulness. Guide me to someone today who is struggling with thoughts of worthlessness or feelings of inferiority and needs to be rescued. Use me to help them know that Jesus loves them and has a wonderful plan for their life. In His holy name, I pray.
