Get up! - Judges 7:15

Holy scripture of the day to get up! - Read this encouraging devotional

 

When Gideon heard the dream and its interpretation, he bowed down and worshiped. He returned to the camp of Israel and called out, “Get up! The Lord has given the Midianite camp into your hands.” Dividing the three hundred men into three companies, he placed trumpets and empty jars in the hands of all of them, with torches inside.  Judges 7:15-16 NIV

Belief: The Lord lifts me up and creates amazing opportunities for me to go for it.

Prayer of the day to get up!

Thank You, Lord Jesus, for rousing my heart to get up and go. I pray for inner strength to get up and not stay down if I fall. Make me a mighty warrior like Gideon who is willing to battle against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil. Holy Spirit, renew my passion for the lost and help me to go forth with a loving heart and caring spirit so I can be blessing to people who feel helpless. Use me to help inspire someone today that is down in the dumps and needs to get up. In Jesus' mighty name.
