Gideon arrived just as a man was telling a friend his dream. “I had a dream,” he was saying. “A round loaf of barley bread came tumbling into the Midianite camp. It struck the tent with such force that the tent overturned and collapsed.” His friend responded, “This can be nothing other than the sword of Gideon son of Joash, the Israelite. God has given the Midianites and the whole camp into his hands.” Judges 7:13-14 NIV


Belief: God is working for me, in me, and through me.


Prayer of the day about God giving me direction

Thank You, Father God for fighting my battles. I praise You for giving me signs like You did to Gideon that You are working behind the scenes in ways that I can never imagine. Holy Spirit, please remind me that no matter what I'm going to face today, that the Lord is with me and He is for me. Use me to help encourage someone today who is feeling beaten down and distressed. In Jesus' holy name.
