The angel of God that had been leading the camp of Israel now shifted and got behind them. And the Pillar of Cloud that had been in front also shifted to the rear. The Cloud was now between the camp of Egypt and the camp of Israel. The Cloud enshrouded one camp in darkness and flooded the other with light. The two camps didn’t come near each other all night. Exodus 14:19-20 MSG

Prayer of the day about God's angel

Thank you, Father God, for the guardian angel that encamps around me and is ever-present to rescue me. I trust in Your word and know in my heart that You assign angels to watch over those who fear You just as You did for the children of Israel. Holy Spirit, guide me to someone today who feels lost and lonesome. Use me like an angel to be a source of hope that strengthens their faith. Help them to believe in Jesus so their eyes may be opened to see the invisible army of heavenly angels that are on our side and watch over us. In His mighty name, I pray.

I will consider my life a great success if I have the joy of seeing each of you in God's eternal Kingdom. I love you and pray my life has influenced each of you in a small way to believe in Christ Jesus and to accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior. I'm grateful to my Lord and humbled to have experienced an abundant and full life that was only possible by abiding in Him. It's difficult to put into words just how grateful I am for God's salvation. When I was 18 years old and lost all hope, Jesus came to my rescue. I'm so thankful that I've been able to experience the power and presence of the Holy Spirit from the moment I accepted Christ and decided to follow Him. The Holy Spirit has been my Helper, Teacher, Comforter, Counselor, and Guide in teaching me to be like Jesus and relying on Him, until my last breath. I fought the good fight and learned that living for God, serving Jesus, and loving people has eternal rewards and zero regrets. To live for Christ is unimaginable gain and glorifying God is what matters most in life. Apart from Jesus, nothing else made much sense to me in life, and nothing else the world offered was worthy of my life's investment. To die in Christ is not the end, it's the doorway in Eternal Life through the power of His resurrection. I'll see you in a little while and pray to see you in heaven. Hector Perez.
