Some Pharisees came and tried to trap him with this question: “Should a man be allowed to divorce his wife for just any reason?” “Haven’t you read the Scriptures?” Jesus replied. “They record that from the beginning ‘God made them male and female.’ And he said, “‘This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.’ Since they are no longer two but one, let no one split apart what God has joined together.” Matthew 19:3-6 NLT

Prayer to foster unity and tear apart what God has joined

I will foster unity and not fall prey to Satan’s strategy in trying to separate me from others. Lord Jesus, I get it and realize that I must be united with You and not allow anyone to split me apart from my spouse. Teach me Holy Spirit how to foster unity among my family members and believers. Guide someone across my path today who is having marital problems and feels like divorce is the answer. Allow me to be a source of hope by assisting them with marriage counseling and pointing them to Jesus who can heal their relationship and give them a new heart of flesh. I pray in the Almighty Name of Jesus.

I will consider my life a great success if I have the joy of seeing each of you in God's eternal Kingdom. I'm grateful to my Lord and humbled to have experienced an abundant and full life that was only possible by abiding in Him. It's difficult to put into words just how grateful I am for God's salvation. When I was 18 years old and lost all hope, Jesus came to my rescue. I'm so thankful that I've been able to experience the power and presence of the Holy Spirit from the moment I accepted Christ and decided to follow Him. The Holy Spirit has been my Helper, Teacher, Comforter, Counselor, and Guide in teaching me to be like Jesus and relying on Him, until my last breath. I fought the good fight and learned that living for God, serving Jesus, and loving people has eternal rewards and zero regrets. To live for Christ is unimaginable gain and glorifying God is what matters most in life. Apart from Jesus, nothing else made much sense to me in life, and nothing else the world offered was worthy of my life's investment. To die in Christ is not the end, it's the doorway in Eternal Life through the power of His resurrection. I'll see you in a little while and pray to see you in heaven. Hector Perez.
