Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. James 5:13-15 NLT
Quote: "Entering God's throne of grace to pray in Jesus' name is evidence of faith in your life. Prayer is the secret place to conquer every worry, where despair departs, and hope enters. Prayer connects you with God, the only One who makes the impossible possible." - Hector Perez.
Praise & Prayer
It's in Your presence, O LORD, where my soul finds hope, rest, and freedom from the worries and cares of this life. I thank You for allowing me to come before Your presence 24/7/365 in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Please forgive me for not praying continuously as I should. I'm here before Your holy presence to pray for family members and friends suffering physical sicknesses and times of trouble. You know them by name and cry out to You in Jesus' mighty name for their healing, but most importantly for their salvation and forgiveness of sins. I stand on Your promise that the prayers offered in faith will heal the sick. Holy Spirit, please grant me opportunities to pray with and for individuals suffering hardships. I praise You, Heavenly Father, for bending Your ear to hear our supplications and answering prayers offered in Jesus' precious name.
March through books of the Bible and meditate on the promise, prayer, and song of the day to help strengthen your faith and personal relationship with Jesus Christ, our Savior. Loving people with compassionate care and pointing them to "Christ, the Way, the Truth, & the Life" is how you will be a soul winner and bring glory to God.
