I’ve already seen this happen. Once I saw a wicked and violent man overpower all who were around him, a domineering tyrant with his pride and oppressive ways. Then he died and was forgotten. Now no one cares that he is gone forever. But you can tell who are the blameless and spiritually mature. What a different story with them! The godly ones will have a peaceful, prosperous future with a happy ending. Psalm 37:35-37 TPT

Prayer for today

I am grateful that God knows my future and has an eternal purpose for my life. I commit my dreams, plans, and desires into Your hand loving Father. I will not dwell on my past and stop worrying about tomorrow which has its own challenges. Help me Holy Spirit to be spiritually mature by remembering that God cares about every detail of my life. Guide me to someone today who lives by “what ifs” and is crippled by fear of the future. Use me to strengthen their faith by reminding them that God is in control of our future and is totally aware of how our stories will end in victory if Jesus is Lord of our lives.
