Praise and Prayer for God's mercy

I praise You, Lord Jesus, for the infinite mercy You show me when I sin and make mistakes. Through Your word today, I am reminded that the wicked devil and the mouth of the deceitful will frequently bring up my past blunders and say things to demoralize me. It's Your great mercy, O LORD, that frees me from shame, self-condemnation, and regret. Holy Spirit, please teach me to lift up the shield of faith when Satan bombards me with lies, accusations, or indictments. Help me this day to show the same mercy I have received from Christ Jesus to family members or friends who have wronged me. I ask this in Jesus' mighty name.
