When it seems like nothing at all goes right
And tears may flow all through the night,
Cheer up, O Christian; morning is nigh.
The joy will come, and the tears will dry.

Billows of sorrow may take their toll
As down our cheeks the tears may roll,
And it seems like night will never be passed.
Then with the morning, joy comes at last.

Praise & Prayer for joy
In Your presence Lord, I encounter the fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore. Please fill my heart with Your joy which gives me the strength to persevere and focus on being a blessing to others. Holy Spirit, guide a person across my path today who has a broken heart and is feeling sad. Lord Jesus, please use me as a vessel of comfort and hope. Flood their heart with Your unspeakable joy as soon as I start to pray in Your almighty name. Amen.
