With the Lord as my Good Shepherd, there's not a thing I lack -

In His tender love, I find fulfillment; His Word keeps me on track.

He goes before me and I follow, my Lord knows what is best;

Jesus leads me to green pastures, in His will, it's safe to rest.

When I'm tired and thirsty, He leads me to a quiet, secluded place -

There He gives me to drink; of the still abundant waters of His grace.

Jesus leads me in paths of righteousness, so I may become whole;

Yes, for the sake of His own name, the Lord restores my soul.

As I walk with Him, I will fear no evil, as long as I have breath -

Jesus is there to protect me; in the valley of the shadow of death.

The Lord chastens whom He loves, His rod and His staff comfort me;

In His guidance, I can trust, and left to myself, I will never be.

Jesus prepares a table for me; richly filled with bread and wine -

He has anointed my head; my cup runs over with favor divine.

All of my days, goodness and mercy will follow me, this I know full well -

In Jesus, I am home; in the love of God, I forever will dwell!

Gracious Father, I praise You for the full, rich, and complete life You have given me in Jesus, my Savior. Thank You for teaching me that fullness of joy and enduring contentment in life is linked to my relationship with You and has little to do with my financial bank accounts, material possessions, position at work, or social status. Lord Jesus, I thank You for coming into my heart and filling every void that made me feel inadequate. Please lead me, Holy Spirit, to someone today who is discontent and feels like their life sucks. Use me to help point them to faith in our Christ Jesus, who fulfills the desires of those who fear Him and accept Him as their LORD. In His mighty name, I pray.
