One day I met a woman
with kind and loving eyes,
who had a gentle spirit
and was extremely wise.
Her face showed signs of aging,
her lovely hair was gray.
She wore a knitted black shawl
and tattered red beret.
Her hands were slightly shaking
while leaning on her cane.
She walked with a pronounced limp
that showed she was in pain.
Yet, this woman smiled
with happiness and grace.
She spoke to me with kindness
as sun rays kissed her face.
She told me of a Savior
whose name was Jesus Christ,
and how He'd lived among us
and what He sacrificed.
She called Him her Redeemer -
One sent by God above,
who changed her life forever
with patience, grace, and love.
This precious, gentle woman
then held my hand and prayed.
She asked if I knew Jesus
and the ransom He had paid.
I said I did not know Him
but truly wanted to
know this man named Jesus Christ.
"What did I need to do?"
'Twas then this woman led me
to Jesus Christ, our Lord.
I asked for His forgiveness.
O, humbly I implored . . .
And at that very moment,
I thought, "What can this be?"
My heart and soul awakened
as peace encircled me.

Praise & Prayer of salvation in Jesus' mighty Name
Abba Father, I believe in the glorious Name of JESUS (Yahweh saves) and confess that my salvation is possible only through faith in His Name. Holy Spirit, please guide someone across my path today who is greatly disturbed by alarming news they recently heard and feels terrified. Use my care to open the door to their heart and guide me in pointing them to faith in our wonderful Cornerstone, Jesus Christ our Savior. Please save them O LORD and give them living hope as we pray in Your Almighty name. Hallelujah!
