POEM: "THE CROSS" by Hannah Buchholz
The cross is where the Savior died
in agony and grief,
The cross is where my burdened soul
was granted sweet relief.
The cross is where my life was changed
my soul was given height,
and all because my Savior died
on that dark and scary night.
The cross brought me to life
He took away my sin
so open up your heart to God
and let the Savior in!
Praise & Worship for Jesus' Crucifixion.
I praise and worship You, Lord, Jesus, for taking the sins of my disobedience, hate, lies, deceit, foolishness, vileness, and corruption in Your body and nailing them on the tree at Calvary. I believe with all my heart that by Your wounds, I am healed of my transgressions and saved from eternal condemnation. I have no words to adequately express the greatness of Your sacrificial love and the precious blood You shed on the tree to reconcile humanity to our heavenly Father. Holy Spirit, incite me to love righteousness like my Lord Jesus and please use me to be a blessing of hope to family members or individuals you place in my path who are carrying the agonizing weight of unforgiven sins and feel despicable to God. Open their eyes to see Jesus' took our place at the cross and conquered sin and death to save our souls. I pray for their salvation and healing in Jesus' mighty name. HOSANNA!
