In Damascus, there was a disciple named Ananias. The Lord called to him in a vision, “Ananias!” “Yes, Lord,” he answered. The Lord told him, “Go to the house of Judas on Straight Street and ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying. In a vision he has seen a man named Ananias come and place his hands on him to restore his sight.” “Lord,” Ananias answered, “I have heard many reports about this man (Saul) and all the harm he has done to your holy people in Jerusalem. And he has come here with authority from the chief priests to arrest all who call on Your Name.” But the Lord said to Ananias, “Go! This man is My chosen instrument to proclaim My name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel.” Acts 9:10-15 NIV
Truth: "You did not choose Me but I chose you." - Jesus Christ.
Praise & Prayer of thanks for being chosen by Jesus
I praise You, Lord Jesus, for bringing purpose, significance, and hope to my life. Thank You, for choosing individuals this world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. You chose individuals who are powerless to shame those who think they are strong. You chose the rejects of this world to deflate the arrogant who look down on others. Holy Spirit, please bring someone across my path today who has been told by family members or people in our society they are worthless and a loser. Use my care to open their ears to hear the good news about Jesus loving them and choosing them to be a child of God. I pray for their salvation in Jesus' mighty name.
