One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: “Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. For I Am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city.” So Paul stayed in Corinth for a year and a half, teaching them the word of God. Acts 17:9-11 NIV
Any fear you have will put you in bondage and torment your soul,
So don't let fear grip your heart and have over you, its control.
Your life may seem to be tossed with the winds over your life's sea,
But fear not, for Jesus is in your life as He promised He would be.
Jesus is saying to you, I Am with you, be of good cheer and be not afraid,
For I will hear your cry, and I will meet the need that you have today.
Do not be of little faith, trust in Me and do not have any doubt,
For I will take away your fear, and I will replace it with a victories shout.
Just continue to worship Me, while giving Me your praise,
And I will pour out to you My many blessings, and your spirit I will raise.
Praise and Prayer to not be afraid
Even when I am in the darkest of situations like Paul, I will not fear because the Lord is by my side. He protects and comforts me with His rod and staff. His love is unfailing and removes all fear from me. I have no reason to be afraid. What can mere humans do to me? Holy Spirit, please give me the courage to stand firm in my faith even when I am mocked or attacked. Lead me to someone who is struggling with fear and insecurity. Use me to strengthen their faith in our Lord Jesus. I pray in His wonderful name. Hosanna, save now O LORD!
