Praise & Prayer
Dear God, I praise You for being such a great and good Father. Thank You for being patient, merciful, kind, and generous to me even when I feel undeserving of Your love. I thank You for my parents, who raised me and taught me Your ways to the best of their ability. I ask for Your forgiveness for the times I failed to honor my parents as You command me to do in Your word. I understand that by doing so, I was dishonoring You. Holy Spirit, please fill my heart with a determination to honor my Heavenly Father and Christ Jesus through my interactions with my parents. Lord Jesus, I ask a special prayer of blessing over my mother-in-law, Juanita, who loves You and seeks to honor God our Father every day. Please bless her with a living hope, unspeakable joy, and Your inseparable love. Grant me the opportunity to express my honor and love to her today. I pray in Your mighty name. Amen.
