But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it. James 1:23-25 NLT

Infallible Truth: “Anyone who listens to My teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it will not collapse because it is built on bedrock. But anyone who hears My teaching and doesn’t obey it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will collapse with a mighty crash.” Matthew 7:24-27

Praise & Prayer
I want to be a doer of Your Word, Lord Jesus, and model my life after You. I praise You for choosing uneducated individuals and ordinary people like me and transforming our lives with Your living Word. I have experienced how Your Word gives me the strength of hope when I face unexpected crises, losses, or tribulations that rock my world. Holy Spirit, please teach me to be a daily reader and listener of the Holy Scriptures, but most of all, to live out the Word as Christ teaches me so that I can be a spiritual influence of God's love and grace to hurting souls, prodigals, and agnostics.
