Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. Because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. James 1:2-3
Prayer & Praise
Faithful Father, You know everything I am experiencing in life and are familiar with all of my needs. LORD Jesus, it is impossible for me to hide anything from You, so I want to be honest in expressing that I find it very challenging to experience joy during times of trouble. However, I want to learn how to find joy through Your help and the power of the Holy Spirit so that I can develop the virtue of perseverance with unwavering faith. Use me this day to assist someone in persevering through their personal storm by guiding them to faith in You. Please fill their hearts with joy and save them, for You are our faithful Savior. In Your mighty name, I pray.
