PRAY: Ask God what you want and pray with the right motives - James 4:2

What is causing all the quarrels and fights among you? Isn’t it your desires battling inside you? You desire things and don’t have them. You kill, and you are jealous, and you still can’t get them. So you fight and quarrel. The reason you don’t have is that you don’t pray! Or you pray and don’t receive because you pray with the wrong motive, that of wanting to indulge your own desires. James 4:1-3 CJB

Infallible Promises: "Delight yourself in the LORD, And He will give you the desires and petitions of your heart." Psalm 37:4; "If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you." John 15:7; "Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in Me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I Am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son." John 14:12-13;

Prayer & Praise
What profit is there for me to ask God for health, wealth, and all the riches of this world if it means losing the hope of eternal life with Jesus? I come before Your holy presence, Lord God, with a contrite and grateful heart to praise You for the wealth of love, joy of salvation, peace that passes understanding, and living hope that never fades in Christ Jesus my Savior. Everything I have dreamed of and desired in the past pales in comparison to what You have given me through Christ Jesus. He alone is the ONE who brings delight, fullness, and completeness to my soul. Holy Spirit, please guide me to someone today who is quarrelsome, jealous, and struggles with illicit desires. Use me to point them to Jesus, who longs to fill all the emptiness of their soul. I pray in His mighty name.
