CHOSEN: You are chosen by God to proclaim His wonderful acts - 1 Peter 2:9

But you are the chosen race, the King's priests, the holy nation, God's own people, chosen to proclaim the wonderful acts of God, who called you out of darkness into His own marvelous light. 1 Peter 2:9

Infallible Truth:

• "You did not choose Me, but I chose you. And I appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will remain—so that whatever you ask the Father in My name, He will give you." John 15:16
• "Now remember what you were, my friends, when God called you. From the human point of view, few of you were wise or powerful or of high social standing. God purposely chose what the world considers foolish in order to shame the wise, and He chose what the world considers weak in order to shame the powerful. He chose what the world looks down on and despises and thinks is nothing, in order to destroy what the world thinks is important. This means that no one can boast in God's presence." 1 Corinthians 1:25-29

Prayer & Praise:

I am chosen and wanted by God. My heart is full of praise, Lord Jesus, as I remember the night You found me and saved me from my darkness. I felt Your arms of love lifting me from my misery and heard Your voice calling me into God's marvelous light. Grant me, Holy Spirit, opportunities this day to proclaim the wonderful acts of God to a family member or person you bring across my path who is looked down upon and feels like a nobody. Open their hearts to believe that God has chosen them through Christ to experience His wonderful plan and purpose for their lives. I pray for their rebirth and salvation in Jesus' mighty name.
