GRACE: God shows you grace so you strive to serve others - 1 Peter 4:10

God has shown you His grace in many different ways. So be good servants and use whatever gift He has given you in a way that will best serve each other. 1 Peter 4:10

REWARDING TRUTH:

• "The greatest among you shall be your servant. For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted." Matthew 23:11-12
• "And Jesus called them [disciples] to Him, and said to them, You know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles lord it over them; and their great ones exercise authority over them. But it is not so among you: but whosoever would become great among you, shall be your servant: and whosoever would be first among you, shall be servant of all. For truly the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many." Mark 10:42-44

Prayer & Praise
Greatness in the eyes of Jesus is entirely different from how humans perceive it. I will use the gifts and skills that God has given me to serve others, just as Jesus has served me. Gracious Father, I am truly grateful for the undeserved favor (grace) You have shown me through Christ Jesus. Teach me, Lord Jesus, to have a servant's heart like Yours—that's humble and precious in the sight of God. Holy Spirit, please open my eyes to recognize and respond to opportunities today to serve the people You bring across my path to my path. I give You permission to prod me if I fail to respond. I pray in Jesus' mighty name.
