Light to those in misery-Job 3:20

Do you feel down, miserable or bitter in your soul? Are you in emotional or physical pain? God sees your deepest hurts as He did in Job's life. Life is hard and one thing is for certain, God will use difficulties, sufferings, and hardships in your life to change you into a better person. Remember that light shines brighter in the darkest of night. Jesus Christ came to bring the light of life to those who live in darkness and the shadow of death

A verse of hope in dark times | Promise of light in darkness

Why is light given to those in misery, and life to the bitter of soul, to those who long for death that does not come, who search for it more than for hidden treasure, who are filled with gladness and rejoice when they reach the grave? Job 3:20-22 NIV

Prayer of contentment in time of suffering

Life is too short so I will make the most of today. Living Father, please shine the light of Jesus in my heart that I may learn to love life and be content with what I have. Teach me how to make most of every day by looking past the negatives and focusing upon the blessings You bestow upon me. Make me a source of inspiration to people who are bitter in soul or in physical misery. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen
