Unafraid-Job 11:19

How can I overcome feelings of fear? Thousands of things create fear in our hearts such as; sicknesses, diseases, results from lab tests, rumors of wars, loss of employment, broken relationships, IRS audits, bullying, death of a loved one, bankruptcy, threats from people, animals, the unknown, failures, etc. Its normal to be fearful of things in life, however, God desires you to know His perfect love that will help cast out all fear from your mind and heart. The LORD stands by your side and wants to help you overcome feelings of fear that hold you captive in the pit of despair. You can overcome fear one step at a time by trusting in God and claiming His living promises which will fill your heart with assurance and confidence.

Verse about overcoming fear

You will lie down, with no one to make you afraid, and many will court your favor. Job 11:19 NIV

Prayer to defeat fear

I will not be afraid. Heavenly Father, please fill my heart today with Your perfect love that drives away all fear. I ask You to make the love of Jesus real in my life that I may grow to be a courageous Christan who knows Your assurance. I pray in the mighty name of Jesus.

To my loving and patient wife, Michele, my beloved son David, my radiant daughter-in-law Blair, my cherished son Joshua, my compassionate daughter Anna, my steadfast son-in-law, Jeff, my empathetic daughter Christina, my go-getter son-in-law Miles, my bright and persevering granddaughter, Blake, my beautiful and tenderhearted granddaughter, Zoey, my strong and handsome grandson, Wyatt, my tender-hearted and precious granddaughter Talia, my jubilant and adorable granddaughter, Romi, and to all of my caring family and faithful friends. I will consider my life a great success if I have the joy of seeing each of you in God's eternal Kingdom. I love you and pray my life has influenced each of you in a small way to believe in Christ Jesus and to accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior. I'm grateful to my Lord and humbled to have experienced an abundant and full life that was only possible by abiding in Him. It's difficult to put into words just how grateful I am for God's salvation. When I was 18 years old and lost all hope, Jesus came to my rescue. I'm so thankful that I've been able to experience the power and presence of the Holy Spirit from the moment I accepted Christ and decided to follow Him. The Holy Spirit has been my Helper, Teacher, Comforter, Counselor, and Guide in teaching me to be like Jesus and relying on Him, until my last breath. I fought the good fight and learned that living for God, serving Jesus, and loving people has eternal rewards and zero regrets. To live for Christ is unimaginable gain and glorifying God is what matters most in life. Apart from Jesus, nothing else made much sense to me in life, and nothing else the world offered was worthy of my life's investment. To die in Christ is not the end, it's the doorway in Eternal Life through the power of His resurrection. I'll see you in a little while and pray to see you in heaven. Hector Perez.
