Believe - Mark 9:23

Holy scripture of the day about the power of Believing in Jesus

Jesus asked the boy’s father, “How long has he been like this?” “From childhood,” he answered. “It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him. But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us.” “‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.” Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!” Mark 9:21-24 NIV

Belief: The things that are impossible for me are possible for Jesus.

Prayer of intercession for impossibilities 

LORD Jesus, I come to ask for help just as this father did for his son. Please forgive me for allowing fear and doubt to weaken my faith when I face personal problems or have family members who are suffering long-term hardships. I believe with all of my heart that everything is possible for You so please come to my rescue. Holy Spirit, use me to help someone today overcome their unbelief by directing them to Jesus who has the power to do the impossible. In His almighty name, I pray.
