The Lord told Gideon, “With these 300 men I will rescue you and give you victory over the Midianites. Send all the others home.” So Gideon collected the provisions and rams’ horns of the other warriors and sent them home. But he kept the 300 men with him. Judges 7:7-8 NLT

Prayer of the day about victorious living

Loving Father, I thank You for using the few who are willing to follow Jesus to achieve mighty victories. You have rescued me from my fears and given me the victory over the powers of sin and death through Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit, lead me to someone today who feels defeated and depressed. Use me to help lead them to Jesus who will give them the victory over those who seen too strong for them. In Jesus' mighty name.
