SOVEREIGNTY: God rules over the nations - Psalm 22:28

All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations shall worship before you. For kingship (sovereignty-power-authority-supremacy-control) belongs to the Lord, and He rules over the nations.  Psalm 22:27-28 ESV

Prayer for today's elections in America

You alone O LORD, are the Supreme Ruler over America and all nations of the earth. I place my trust in You and pray for the healing of our land as You have commanded us to do. Holy Spirit, direct the hearts of people voting today. Remind me that God who is almighty, omnipotent, and righteous is in complete control. Keep my mind stayed on the Lord so I experience perfect peace regardless of the outcome of today's elections. Help me to be a source of hope and peace to people who may be feeling nervous or angry. In Jesus' mighty name.
