Prayer for today

I come this moment into Your presence Lord Jesus, where I find true rest and supernatural peace that calms all my fears when I feel troubled. Holy Spirit, please remind me each day to take the yoke of Christ so I learn to live humbly, freely, and lightly. Guide someone across my path today that is carrying a heavy burden and feels distressed. Use my care to build a relationship of trust and grant me an opportunity to point them to Jesus who longs to give them true rest from their heavy burden. I pray in Jesus’ mighty name.
