Prayer to forgive offenses and hurts

I have been forgiven much, therefore, I too can forgive much. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for showing me such great mercy by forgiving ALL my sins and not giving me the punishment I deserve for the thousands of times I have sinned against You. Help me Holy Spirit to stop being a scorekeeper by tracking the number of times people offend me or sin against me. Give me a heart like Jesus to embrace a spirit of forgiveness by not holding on to grudges or dwelling on past hurts. Fill me this day with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Place a family member, friend or co-worker on my mind or in my path today that I need to forgive in the mighty name of Jesus.
