UNSHAKABLE: Trust in the LORD and you will be unshakable - Psalm 125:1

The living word for today is about Trusting in the LORD, and you will be unshakable - Read 21 verses about steadfastness.

Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion. They will never be shaken. They will continue forever. Psalm 125:1 NIV

Question of the day: Are you shaken, rattled, and rolled over by gasoline prices and the troubles you see happening in our world?

Prayer to be unshakable in the faith

You, O LORD are the constant in my life. You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. I will trust in You, with all my heart, and not rely on my own understanding. I commit my life into Your hands and submit to do Your will. Please make my paths straight, Holy Spirit, and teach me to be steadfast, immovable, and unwavering in the faith. Deliver me from being a doubter or double-minded Christian when I face opposition or am ridiculed for being a follower of Jesus Christ. Gird me this day with power from on high, so I can be like Mount Zion to someone who is shaken, rattled, and rolled over by the troubles we see happening in our world. I pray for their salvation in the mighty name of Jesus.

My Departing Words

To my loving and patient wife, Michele, my beloved son David, my radiant daughter-in-law Blair, my cherished son Joshua, my compassionate daughter Anna, my steadfast son-in-law, Jeff, my empathetic daughter Christina, my go-getter son-in-law Miles, my bright and persevering granddaughter, Blake, my beautiful and tenderhearted granddaughter, Zoey, my strong and handsome grandson, Wyatt, my tender-hearted and precious granddaughter Talia, my jubilant and adorable granddaughter, Romi, and to all of my caring family and faithful friends. I will consider my life a great success if I have the joy of seeing each of you in God's eternal Kingdom. I ask you to please forgive me if I've wronged any of you and did not ask for your forgiveness. I love you and pray my life has influenced each of you in a small way to believe in Christ Jesus and to accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior. I'm grateful to my Lord and humbled to have experienced an abundant and full life that was only possible by abiding in Him. It's difficult to put into words just how grateful I am for God's salvation. When I was 18 years old and lost all hope, Jesus came to my rescue. I'm so thankful that I've been able to experience the power and presence of the Holy Spirit from the moment I accepted Christ and decided to follow Him. The Holy Spirit has been my Helper, Teacher, Comforter, Counselor, and Guide in teaching me to be like Jesus and relying on Him, until my last breath. I fought the good fight and learned that living for God, serving Jesus, and loving people has eternal rewards and zero regrets. To live for Christ is unimaginable gain and glorifying God is what matters most in life. Apart from Jesus, nothing else made much sense to me in life, and nothing else the world offered was worthy of my life's investment. To die in Christ is not the end, it's the doorway in Eternal Life through the power of His resurrection. I'll see you in a little while and pray to see you in heaven. Hector Perez.
